50001:2018 CERTIFICATION
Compes has always been attentive to the relationship between business and the environment and to the impact that its activities can have on the latter, as demonstrated by the adoption, for nearly 10 years, of the UNI EN ISO 14001 system. Aware that the well-being of the planet and the communities that inhabit it is the primary goal, far beyond the pursuit of profit, it has added another important piece to this journey by certifying itself with UNI EN ISO 50001 at the beginning of this month.
Using energy efficiently by adopting practices that reduce waste (such as the use of renewable sources like the recent photovoltaic system in the company) is essential not only to be more competitive in the market but, above all, to preserve natural resources, reduce greenhouse gas emissions contributing to climate change and air pollution, and consequently, improve air quality, health, and quality of life.

1972-2022 - 50 years of Compes S.p.A.
This year, Compes S.p.A. is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary. Half a century of experience and hard work has made Compes S.p.A. a leading manufacturer of dies and equipment for aluminium extrusion, as well as a reliable partner for the main European and global extruders.
Founded in 1972 as a small business with around fifteen employees, today the company, based in Rodengo Saiano in Franciacorta (BS), has a workforce of around one hundred and forty. In 2000, it began operating an additional production site in Toronto, Canada, as well as two other service centres in France and Germany, with a combined total of more than three hundred employees.

International Aluminium Extrusion Technology & Seminar
COMPES was due to participate from May 19 to 21, the event was postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic to 2021.
The new ET '21 edition will take place between 11-13 May 2021 in Orlando, Florida U.S.A.
45001:2018 CERTIFICATION
CO.M.P.ES. S.p.A. in September 2019 obtained the 45001:2018 Certification which cancels and replaces the OHSAS 18001:2007 standard relating to the management of safety at work.
The transition from 18001 to 45001 led to the completion of the integrated Quality, Safety and Environment (QSA) management system, consisting of a merge into a single perspective of the three systems present in the company: ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

COMPES will attend the next edition of METEF with its own stand in Hall 2 - 27 D
At the booth the Direction, the Area and Technical Managers will alternate to welcome their customers and those interested in dies and equipment for the aluminium extrusion or in the latest developments of ancillary machines for correction and production departments.
It will also be an opportunity to learn about the evolution carried out in the company and, if you wish, to take a guided tour directly to the production site.
For those interested in a detailed or more specific visit to the company, above all for groups of collaborators, we advise to arrange the visit in advance with the Area Manager so that it can be organized at the best.
From the 20th to the 24th of June, again in Verona Fiere, 2 additional events will take place: the ALUMINIUM Two Thousand conference and ICEB International Conference on Extrusion and Benchmark.
COMPES, as a sponsor of the event, will have a desk and be present with staff members who will illustrate the state of the art of simulation of the extrusion process.

ALUMINIUM MIDDLE EAST is at its fourth edition; the time has confirmed it as the leading trade fair in the Middle East for all that covers the world of aluminium from raw material to finished product.
At the stand of Compes (B 106) you will be able to meet Compes Direction, the Area Manager and the Technical Manager of reference for the entire area. The event will be a meeting opportunity to strengthen relationships with our customers and to present Compes to all extruders from the Middle East, particularly the Gulf Area and the Maghreb.
OHSAS 18001 CERTIFICATION
CO.M.P.ES. S.p.A. is pleased to inform you that in October 2016 obtained the certification for OHSAS 18001, international standard for a system managing safety and health of workers.
OHSAS 18001 certification follows the equally important ISO 14001 one, standard for environment management, achieved at the beginning of 2015.
To date CO.M.P.ES. S.p.A. is proud to have reached three important certifications: ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
This impressive milestone places COMPES Spa as a sector reference for quality, attention to the environment and safety of its workers.

11th International Exhibition & Seminar "INNOVATIONS for TOMORROW" Chicago Illinois USA 2nd to 6th of May 2016
The COMPES Group will be represented at the event ET'16 by its Canadian subsidiary COMPES International, which will exhibit at booth 1400 with the General Manager Mr. Sal Adamo and his collaborators both from the commercial and technical areas.
The parent company COMPES SpA will participate in the event with the General Manager Mr. Gianluca Riva and a sales and technical team.
ET is the most important worldwide event in the aluminium sector and due to its importance is held every four years for a period of four days.
The same time is divided into two parts: the one dedicated to seminars and the other to the exhibition of the most important companies in the extrusion industry.
The 4 days ET will be animated by more than 1,400 people, including managers, delegates, engineers, scholars and professionals from all over the world.
COMPES INTERNATIONAL NEW FACILITY
We inform all our customers that our subsidiary COMPES International is fully operational in the new premises located a few kilometers from the previous site.
With the purchase of an area of about 3,000 m2, of which about 2,000 m2 used for production activities and 500 m2 for offices, we have been able to expand our machinery range and optimize the lay-out, thus increasing considerably the production capacity and improving the already acknowledged quality and talents.

COMPES DEUTSCHLAND UG
The new subsidiary, set up in late 2015 and fully operational by early 2016.
It was born as a service centre for customers in Central Europe and especially in Germany. Collaborators, designers and sales engineers will thus be able to support in the best way and with reduced delivery time any need or requirement of the customer.
